Last night, I finally got on HF for the first time — and I couldn’t have asked for a better debut. I set up my Wolf River Coils antenna for 20 meters, tuned into FT8, and ended the night with 29 QSOs… including 15 DX contacts!
I’ve spent the last few weeks getting my portable station ready, and fighting with USPS while my Wolf River Coils got delayed by almost TWO WEEKS, and this was my first real test of how well it would all come together. Safe to say, I’m thrilled with the results.
